Mr. Joseph Chan Nap Kee, Chairman of the Silk Road Economic Development Research Center, attended the luncheon talk titled “Understanding AI Applications, Digital Literacy and Its Implications”, co-organized by the Maritime Silk Road Society and the Silk Road Economic Development Research Center, with venue sponsorship by Oriental Patron Investment Management.
During the event, Mr. Chan shared his perspectives on the topic, emphasizing the importance of fostering digital literacy, ethical awareness, and cultural adaptability in the age of artificial intelligence. He highlighted how AI development under the Belt and Road framework can benefit from inclusive dialogue across sectors and regions, especially when grounded in human-centered innovation.
The featured speaker was Mr. Rex Ma, Co-founder of iGen6, Honorary President of Asia Pacific Creativity Industries Association, and Charter President of the Hong Kong International Innovation & Entrepreneurship Institute.

- The Collaboration between AI and Cultural Creativity
- Seven Wisdom of using AI
The seminar drew participants interested in AI under the Belt and Road Initiative. The event was conducted in Cantonese and concluded with a Q&A session.
