Within less than a year, our Centre has already come to the 5th series of the Conference on Silk Road Strategy. This time our focus was on Georgia – a beautiful and fascinating country that connects Eastern Europe and Western Asia.

Known for the “cradle of wine”, not only Georgia is the place where wine is originated from, it is also referred by the World Bank as “the no.1 economic reformer” in all countries.

This time, we had the honour to invite Mr. David Saganelidze, the Chairman and Executive Director of the Georgia state-owned investment fund Partnership Fund as our keynote speaker. Mr. Saganelidze is also the Chairman of Parliamentary Majority in Georgia, Vice-President of the Parliamentary Assembly Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC), and member of Political Board of the Political Coalition “Georgian Dream”.
